Job description
THE JOB:
An established agricultural company is seeking a motivated and flexible Agricultural Production Operative to join their team. This role offers the flexibility of working hours, including shift work options. The primary responsibilities of the Agricultural Production Operative include performing various tasks in the production process, with opportunities for overtime.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out production tasks related to the manufacturing of agricultural products or components.
Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure the efficient and accurate completion of production tasks.
Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Meet production targets and quality standards, striving for continuous improvement in performance.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Perform quality checks on finished products to identify and address any defects or issues.
Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy by properly recording materials used and reporting any discrepancies.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
THE CANDIDATE:
Previous experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous.
Flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work shifts.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and operating machinery.
Strong work ethic and the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
Adherence to health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with opportunities for overtime. Shift work options are available, including a 3-day week and 4-day week schedule from 6 am to 6 pm. Additionally, Monday to Friday hours from 6 am to 3 pm and part-time hours are also available.
